PELAGIC CORMORANT
(Phalacrocorax pelagicus)

 
 
Identified even from a distance at sea by its unique pencil-thin bill and convex "chin."   When ashore, usually seen on steep narrow rocky ledges.  Does not congregate in large groups on flatter rocks like Brandt's Cormorants.
