WHITE-RUMPED SANDPIPER
(Calidris fuscicollis)

 
White-rumped Sandpiper, along with Baird's Sandpiper one of two "large peeps" (with wingtips
projecting beyond the tip of the tail), is distinguished by its two-toned bill with orange red on the
proximal lower mandible, and streaked flanks.
