Bluff Point – Philadelphia Vireo

Philadelphia VireoSeptember 11:  Back at Bluff Point this morning, the early flight of migrants was much sparser than yesterday, but there was also less wind and a few birds foraged in the trees allowing a few photos. Best bird of the morning was a Philadelphia Vireo, a difficult species to see in the US except during fall migration, when a small number are seen in New England annually.
