July 14:  Today we had six Monk Parakeets taking advantage of a puddle in the road in front of our house here in Westbrook, CT. I have seen Monk Parakeets in Connecticut before, over by Sandy Point in West Haven, but never before here in Westbrook, so they are a new yard bird for us.
