Barn Owl

ABA 1

(Tyto alba)

The Barn Owl is in its own family and is not grouped with the “typical owls.” It is a nocturnal hunter of rodents, and anyone who has heard its nighttime, blood-curdling, banshee-like shriek is not likely to soon forget it.

Your photographs are spectacular, very detailed. Im curious to know if you ever thought of adding pictures of birds , their eggs and nests. As a teacher I’d think it would be beneficial as children research various bird species and being able to associate nest materials according to environment and compare and contrast egg colouration and size differences. Just a thought
