Baird’s Sparrow

ABA 2

(Centronyx bairdii - formerly Ammodramus bairdii)

Baird’s Sparrow is a secretive bird of the northern great plains.  It tends to be singular, hiding in tall grass of wide expanse, and is difficult to find unless a male is singing, and even then requires patience to see.
