Swallow-tailed Gull

ABA 5

(Creagrus furcatus)

Possibly the world’s most beautiful gull, Swallow-tailed Gull has just had only its third North American sighting, the first two from offshore in California, one in 1985 and the other in 1996, and the latest one (September, 2017) in Seattle, WA. The birds on this page were photographed in the Galápagos, where they are resident.
