Black-chinned Hummingbird

Black-chinned Hummingbird is wide-spread in the west, where it is the counterpart of the Ruby-throated Hummingbird of the east.  The two are very similar except for the gorget color – purple in the Black-chinned, red in the Ruby-throated.
