I just spotted a white throated thrush in my backyard in Brighton, Michigan. I have never seen one and I had to look it up to identify it, I will try to get a picture if it returns. 6-20-15, 9:30 a.m.

A White-throated Thrush anywhere in the US (best chance is Texas or Arizona) is a “megararity,” and in Michigan it is unheard of. If your bird truly were a White-throated Thrush, birders would be descending on you from all over.

Dec 5, 2015, My wife and I just spotted what I think is a thrush. It looks similar to the white throated thrush. This bird had a gray back, red breast, prominent yellow rings around black eyes and a yellow beak. The bird looked like a robin with the red breast but they don’t arrive here until spring. Didn’t grab the camera in time to snap a picture.

I took a picture and it is not a white throated thrush. I sent the picture to local metro park nature center and he thinks it is a partially albino robin, I will try to sent the picture to you , can you help us identify it?
