Boreal Owl

ABA 2

(Aegolius funereus)

As its name implies, the Boreal Owl breeds in the boreal forests of Alaska, Northern Canada, and the US Rocky Mountains. It is strictly nocturnal, and roosts quietly during the day when it is seldom seen.
