Cerulean Warbler

ABA 2

(Setophaga cerulea - formerly Dendroica cerulea)

Cerulean Warbler is one of the more difficult wood-warbler species to observe as it tends to remain high up in the canopy treetops, however it does have a unique buzzy song that is quite easy to recognize. This jewel of a species is suffering from habitat loss, its numbers are decreasing, and its long-term outlook is uncertain.
