Louisiana Waterthrush

ABA 1

(Parkesia motacilla - formerly Seiurus motacilla)

One of the earliest spring migrants, Louisiana Waterthrush can be confused with Northern Waterthrush, but has a different range, more prominent white supercilium, little or no spotting on the throat, absence of yellowish breast wash, and a tendency to favor more rapidly running water.
