Razorbill

ABA 1

(Alca torda)

Like the Atlantic Puffin, with which it often keeps company, the Razorbill is an alcid that breeds on the rocky islands off Maine and the Canadian maritime provinces, and similarly becomes pelagic in the fall when it consequently becomes less likely to be observed at a close distance.
