Black-capped Chickadee

Black-capped Chickadee is one of the northeast’s most common and familiar visitors to back yard feeders.  They are one of our tamest birds and can sometimes even be coaxed to take seeds from the palm of one’s hand. State bird of Massachusetts and Maine.
