Egyptian Goose is native to sub-Saharan Africa and the Nile Valley. It is an introduced species elsewhere. As of August 26, 2014 the ABA Checklist Committee has accepted the Egyptian Goose as an established exotic in southeastern Florida (Martin, Palm Beach, Broward, and Miami-Dade counties).
