Herring Gull

(Larus argentatus)

Herring Gull is North America’s most common and widespread large-sized gull. Technically the North American Herring Gull is the subspecies Larus argentatus smithsonianus. The Vega Gull of the Bering Sea is the subspecies Larus argentatus vegae.
