Also known as Canary-winged Parakeet, the Yellow-chevroned Parakeet is one of a number of Psittacidae family species that have established scattered local populations, mainly in south Florida and Southern California. Note its feathered lores compared to White-winged Parakeet, with which it was once conspecific.
