Sharp-tailed Sandpiper is a Siberian species occasionally seen in Alaska or the U.S. west coast but is very rare in the east. This one was discovered on November 14, 2021 in the mucky marshland of the Galilee Bird Sanctuary near the Block Island ferry terminal at Point Judith, Rhode Island.
