Common Shelduck


(Tadorna tadorna)

Common Shelduck is a Eurasian species, and only accidental to northeastern North America. This striking dabbling duck is slightly larger than a Mallard, and unmistakable with its bright pink bill and mostly white but multicolored body with a green-sheened head.
