Blue-winged Warbler

(Vermivora cyanoptera - formerly Vermivora pinus)

Blue-winged Warbler, like the Golden-winged Warbler, prefers immature second-growth habitat such as power-line cuts. These two species hybridize to produce the dominant Brewster’s Warbler and the recessive Lawrence’s Warbler.
